The short version

Sony has confirmed November 2026's PlayStation Plus Monthly Games: Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered and Monster Train 2. All three can be added to your library from Tuesday, November 3 through Monday, November 30, 2026, and they are included with every PlayStation Plus tier, Essential included.

There is also a deadline on the other side of the switch. October's Monthly Games — F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 — can only be claimed until Monday, November 2. That leaves a one-day gap: October's games stop being claimable on November 2, and November's arrive on November 3. If you have not claimed October's trio yet, this weekend is the time to do it.

The combined PlayStation Store price of the three November titles is about $96.97, based on their standard listings: Dead Island 2 at $41.99, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered at $29.99 and Monster Train 2 at $24.99. Claimed through PlayStation Plus, all three are included with your subscription for as long as you keep it.

Dead Island 2 (PS5, PS4): the headliner

Dead Island 2 is the big, loud one. Dambuster Studios' zombie action RPG drops you into a quarantined Los Angeles the game calls "HELL-A," where you pick one of six Slayers and carve through the undead with melee combat built around dismemberment, elemental effects and improvised weapons. It supports online co-op for up to three players, so the whole apocalypse plays just as well with friends.

This is the game to start with if you want something immediate. There is very little warm-up: pick a Slayer, pick a weapon, and start swinging. It is also the most mainstream pick of the month by a distance — a 2023 open-world action game that has had years of updates and expansions behind it by now.

Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered (PS5, PS4): three games in one

Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered bundles the trilogy often called the Darkness Trilogy: Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider: Chronicles and Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. Aspyr developed the collection with Crystal Dynamics, and like the earlier I-III collection, it lets you swap between the original polygonal graphics and the remastered visuals at any time.

The timing is neat for collectors. Tomb Raider I-III Remastered was already a PlayStation Plus Monthly Game earlier in 2026, so subscribers who claimed that collection and claim this one now hold all six of Lara Croft's original adventures. The Last Revelation takes Lara to Egypt and an ancient prophecy about the god Set; Chronicles is told in flashback by her friends after she is presumed dead; and The Angel of Darkness has Lara on the run, accused of murder, untangling a conspiracy built on alchemy and ancient artifacts.

If you only play one of the three, start with The Last Revelation — it is the most complete and best-regarded game of the set, and the one that most feels like classic Tomb Raider at its peak.

Monster Train 2 (PS5 only): the deckbuilder

Monster Train 2 is the PS5-only entry, and the one most likely to eat your evenings. Shiny Shoe's deckbuilding roguelite has former angels and demons teaming up against the Titans who have seized Heaven, fighting card-based battles across three vertical floors of a train as it travels through Hell, Heaven and the Abyss.

It comes with five new clans to build around, Room Cards that boost your train and Equipment Cards that power up your units, plus an Endless Mode for runs that keep escalating. It is single-player only, which makes it the quiet contrast to Dead Island 2's co-op chaos — and arguably the best value-per-hour of the three if roguelites are your thing.

Claim October's games before November 2

Do not let the November lineup distract you from the deadline in front of it. October's Monthly Games — F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 — leave the claim list on Monday, November 2. Claiming a game does not mean downloading it right away: once it is in your library, it stays there while your subscription is active, so add all three now and download them whenever you have the space.

How PlayStation Plus Monthly Games work

Monthly Games are the games included with every PlayStation Plus tier. Claim them during their window — here, November 3 to November 30 — and they stay playable for as long as you hold any PlayStation Plus membership. Miss the window and the offer is gone; November 30 is a deadline to claim, not a deadline to play. Sony has not announced a time of day for the November 3 switchover, so expect the new games to appear during the day rather than at midnight.

Note that this announcement covers only the Monthly Games. The November additions to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for Extra and Premium subscribers are announced separately later in the month, so this is not the full November picture for higher tiers — just the three games every subscriber gets.

F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 can be claimed until Monday, November 2. After that, they leave the Monthly Games claim list.

The bottom line

November's PlayStation Plus lineup is a genuinely well-balanced trio: a big co-op zombie game, three classic adventures in one package, and a deep deckbuilder for the quiet hours. Claim October's games this weekend, then come back on November 3 for Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered and Monster Train 2. Five games across the two windows, if you count the Tomb Raider trilogy properly — not a bad haul for one subscription month.
